Welcome to the LWDP website
Formed in 2003, the Lancashire Workforce Development Partnership (LWDP) is an employer led partnership representing over one thousand providers of independent Social Care in Lancashire. The organisation manages the workforce development grants which support employers by making funds available for staff training and development with an ultimate purpose of improving Social Care in Lancashire for service users by valuing and investing in the Social Care workforce.
Over the past seven years, with extensive support from Lancashire County Council and other partners, LWDP has established itself within the sector and has become the central point for its stakeholders to gain information, training funding and support.
This website is the gateway to careers, training and funding opportunities for the Lancashire independent Social Care sector.
