Funding for NVQ Training

An excellent service.  Not sure how we will cope without you if funding criteria changes for NVQ's as highlighted at a recent networking meeting.

Always very helpful to those of us who are not very computer literate?

The efficiency of the system has allowed us greater freedom in choosing training providers and so receive a higher standard of training rather than having to go where there is funding.  It allows me as training manager to monitor NVQ candidate’s progress.

I have been very happy with the support from LWDP within the last 12 months of year 2007, with using this service I got 24 members signed up and completed the level 2 by the end of 2007.

The system was initially difficult to navigate but staff were helpful.

Because of my computer literacy – I needed loads of help and nothing was too much trouble.

Very pleased to be able to access the funding.  A great benefit.

The system and staff enable us to choose from an extensive list of short courses and as they are automatically updated on individual training records makes it easier for us to meet CSCI standards.

Can be complicated as it wasn’t very clear at the beginning who claimed the funding.  However, now it is becoming better.

Lots of information and plenty of material to take away and consider.

Excellent information willing staff to tailor to individual needs.

We were really unaware of what we were attending and it was extremely useful.

The website is very informative and useful, but it is slow when accessing and not very easy to navigate.

The scils website is one of the most useful tools I have.  Excellent up to date information and allows my workers to access training at any part of the day, particularly useful for night workers who find it difficult to attend daytime training sessions.  This service also allows the staff to choose from a wide variety of topics.
