Aims & Objectives

This course has been designed to provide a good, basic understanding of nutrition. It emphasises the benefits of a healthy and varied diet to suit specific groups of people with special dietary needs. It will provide those individuals involved in the production of menus, purchase and preparation of food with the necessary knowledge to enable them to apply basic principles of nutrition to improve clients’ health.
