Cancer Awareness

FREE CANCER AWARENESS RESOURCE WORKSHOPS

All of the evidence tells us that if we increase efforts to improve earlier presentation and diagnosis of cancer, it will save thousands of lives every year.

Lancashire & South Cumbria Cancer Network (LSCCN) have developed an interactive learning resource which is aimed at front line social care staff.

This resource will help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer. It also promotes early presentation and diagnosis, especially of lung, bowel, prostate and breast cancers.

LWDP are delighted to be holding a series of free half day workshops at different venues across Lancashire to guide staff through this valuable free resource.

If you are interested in attending one of the workshops or would like to know more about this fabulous resource, simply register your interest by email to info@lwdp.org.uk or by telephone to Fran Dickason - Organisational Development Officer for LWDP on Tel: (01772) 761855
