Change in the Evidence for WDF

GOOD NEWS!! - UPDATE ON THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FUND

Skills for Care have offered LWDP an extension to the Workforce Development Fund contract. The contract end date was originally March 2012 however this has now been extended to May 2012. 
This means that if you have WDF funding secured for QCF and NVQ training: NVQ and QCF units can be submitted for payment to the LWDP office up to and including the 7th May 2012.

Revised WDF Eligibility Criteria:
  • Internal Verifier must have signed off the NVQ/QCF unit summary sheet between 1st January 2011 and 17th May 2012. 
  • The assessor date on the NVQ/QCF unit summary sheet does not have to fall between 1st January 2011 and 17th May 2012.
  • On the NVQ/QCF unit summary sheets we still require the candidate name, candidate registration number, unit code, unit name, assessor signature and assessor date for all units claimed.

For Organisations to access NVQ/QCF funding:
  • The organisation must complete a Skills for Care Partnership Form.
  • The organisation must have fully completed their NMDS-SC Questionnaire that must be verified by Skills for Care.
  • Applications must be submitted and training booked via LancashirePlan. This does not apply for employers who want to access WDF for Backfill.
  • Employers must submit copies of completed NVQ/QCF unit summary sheets to the LWDP office by 7th May 2012.

LWDP are delivering workshops across Lancashire to help Care Providers complete their NDMS-SC so that they can access the Workforce Development Fund. Please contact the LWDP office for further details.
