LWDP Short Courses
Further to your feedback from the last Stakeholder Event, we know that short courses, HR training and in particular mandatory training remains a priority for your staff development. Training to support workforce development across the independent Social Care sector in Lancashire is a continued focus for LWDP, therefore in September 2011 we were able to publish our first short course training schedule.
The management of short courses has now been brought in-house so that LWDP commission, co-ordinate and schedule the training that takes place. Each month, a schedule is put together that includes short course and HR training running at various locations across Lancashire. The training providers delivering the training are ones who have met the required quality checks as part of the tender process.
Employer Contribution
LWDP are subsidising the cost of each course that runs, and from October 1st were able to increase the financial subsidy towards these courses so that the employer contribution rate is £15 per delegate for all short courses. HR training courses continue to be priced at £50 per delegate.
How to Book
Once you have selected your required course that is being held at a venue near you, please complete the booking form, indicating your method of payment and return it to Melissa Fisher, LWDP, Marian House, Preston, PR2 1DU. Alternatively please return the form to email shortcourses@lwdp.org.uk
