Alzheimers and Dementia

Aims & Objectives

This course is aimed at anyone working in the care sector that comes into contact with people with Dementia.  They will gain underpinning knowledge and will be able to understand the implications of Dementia on individuals and carers. It will increase the students knowledge & understanding of Alzheimer’s & Dementia when assisting/supporting/nursing clients in their care.

• Care workers, experienced and inexperienced that work in social care.

• This is a non-accredited course.

Additional Information

• This short course can be used as a first introduction to caring for people or as a refresher on an annual basis.
